What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about self-care and knowing your worth. It can be so hard to take a moment and really focus on yourself but making that time and effort helps balance out everything else.
One thing a new client should know about you:
I don’t like the idea of “old school therapy” and am not going to just sit you on a couch and analyze you. YOU are the expert in your life and we can explore your story together. I want you to feel comfortable and at home talking to me.
What is your favorite hobby?
It’s a bit all over the place! I love video games, reading, horseback riding, and concerts to name a few!
QUOTE I LOVE
“If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.” —Maya Angelou
If you were a car, what kind of car would you be?
Ooo well, I would love to be a Weismann Roadster MF5 in matte black but feel that I am more of a Toyota Sienna; I am dependable, have lots of room for others, and am always being upgraded to be the best I can be.
Where did you go to school?
I received my MS in clinical mental health counseling from Bellevue University and currently hold my PLMHP through the state of Nebraska.
Favorite song:
I have had the same playlist forever and a song that definitely gets a lot of plays would be “In Between” by Beartooth. I first heard it during a darker time in my life; it represents the constant state of change many people find themselves in and the struggle between conflicting emotions, decisions, and choices we face daily. The song reminds us that life is not black and white, but rather a series of gray where we may feel stuck or uncertain but that there is always hope.
