What motivates you to do what you do?

I get motivated when clients become self-empowered to better their lives and themselves in the best way for them. I learn a lot from my clients and it is an honor to witness their strength and perseverance on their journey of healing and well-being.

What’s your favorite animal?

I LOVE dogs, all breeds put a big smile on my face. I have two dogs myself, one of which is a rescue. Interacting with any dog you meet is always exciting.

One thing clients should know about you:

I am here to listen openly and without judgement. I understand that each person is unique in their personality, experiences, and life circumstances. I will try my best to tailor your therapeutic journey to the unique person you are and the unique challenges you’re facing. I look forward to working collaboratively with you.

“Happiness is not the absence of problems, it’s the ability to deal with them”   —Steve Maraboli

If you were a car, what kind of a car would you be?

I had to ask a friend about this because I don’t know my cars very well. I am apparently a Toyota Camry because I am reliable.

Where did you go to school?

I received my B.A. in Psychology at the University of Nebraska (UNL), and my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS). I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and hold a provisional license in the states of Colorado (LPCC), Missouri (PLPC), and Nebraska (PLMHP).

Tell us about a person who means a lot to you.

My mom — she inspires me, is always there for me, and supportive in my decisions. She helps bring out my creative side and is also at times my fashion consultant.
